VetBuddy Extension - Audio Recording and Consultation Assistant VetBuddy is a lightweight browser extension that sits on top of EHR to capture, structure, and paste clinical notes—without ever leaving the page. With a single hotkey, vets can start a consented audio recording of the consult; VetBuddy transcribes in real time and auto-organizes content into SOAP, assessment, plan, meds, and follow-ups. One-click “Paste to EHR” drops clean, formatted text directly into the relevant note fields, so there’s no tab-switching, no juggling windows, and no copy/paste chaos. Smart templates, species-aware phrases, and quick macros speed up histories, exam findings, diagnostics, and Rx instructions. The floating mini-panel docks neatly beside EHR so clinicians can review, edit, and insert sections on the fly. Missed-charge prompts and task/reminder snippets help capture revenue and ensure follow-ups. All processing is designed with clinic privacy in mind, with encrypted handling and an audit trail of created notes. If connectivity blips, VetBuddy queues work and syncs when back online.
