Description
Reliably reload the selected tab on a custom schedule with countdown, presets, cache control, and refresh limits. 🔄 Auto Refresh — Tab Reloader keeps one selected browser tab updated on the schedule you choose. Select the current tab, choose an interval, start refreshing, and continue working. The extension uses reliable background scheduling, so the countdown does not depend on keeping the popup open. ⏱️ RELIABLE REFRESH SCHEDULING • Refresh the selected tab every 30 seconds, minutes, or hours • Keep the schedule running after the popup is closed • Restore the active schedule after background-service suspension • Track the target tab by tab ID, even when its URL changes or redirects • See a live countdown and progress indicator • View the active interval on the toolbar badge ⚡ QUICK AND FLEXIBLE CONTROLS • Quick presets for 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, and 30 minutes • Start or pause the schedule at any time • Refresh the selected tab immediately • Use intervals from 30 seconds up to 7 days • Select a different target tab whenever needed 🛡️ ADVANCED OPTIONS • Bypass cache when requesting fresh page files • Skip scheduled refreshes while the tab is playing audio • Stop automatically after a chosen number of refreshes • Stop cleanly if the selected tab is closed • Show a clear error when the target is no longer available 📊 LOCAL REFRESH STATISTICS See the total number of refreshes and the number completed during the current session. Statistics and settings stay stored locally in Chrome. 🔒 PRIVACY BY DESIGN • No account or registration • No advertisements • No analytics or tracking • No remote code or external servers • No reading of page content • No collection or transmission of browsing history or personal information • Access is limited to the tab you explicitly select ✨ VERSION 3.0.0 This update completely rebuilds Auto Refresh — Tab Reloader for improved reliability and usability. It replaces fragile page-level interval code with Chrome alarms, tracks the selected tab directly, restores missing schedules after service-worker restarts, removes the broad tabs permission, and introduces countdowns, presets, advanced safeguards, refresh limits, statistics, badge status, and a redesigned interface. Choose a tab, set the schedule, and let Auto Refresh — Tab Reloader keep it updated for you.
