FEATURES • 100% private — every grammar check runs locally on your device. • Local AI by default — uses Qwen3.5 0.8B on WebGPU-capable devices or Qwen3 0.6B on older and memory-constrained devices. • Hardware acceleration — supports WebGPU, with a compatible WASM option using Qwen3 0.6B. • Optional Chrome built-in AI — supports the Prompt API with Gemini Nano when available and explicitly set up. Automatic mode uses Chrome AI when ready and otherwise uses the selected local model. • Offline after setup — local model files are downloaded once, cached on your device, and available without an internet connection. • Works where you write — supports rich-text editors, contenteditable fields, textareas, and standard text inputs. • Non-destructive highlights — displays precise wavy underlines without moving your cursor or modifying text. • Built-in editor — paste text into the popup to review corrections, compare changes, recover drafts, and copy the corrected result. • Right-click correction — select text on any page to correct it in place or copy the corrected version when the text is read-only. • Configurable — choose the AI engine, local model, acceleration method, typing delay, supported field types, language, and per-site access rules.
