Automatically syncs Google Calendar events to Microsoft Teams status across multiple tenants. The Ultimate Calendar-to-Teams Presence Sync Why install Teams Status Automator? In today’s hybrid work environment, manually updating your Microsoft Teams status is a chore that is often forgotten. Whether you are deep in a meeting, in a "Be Right Back" buffer zone, or finished for the day, your status should reflect your reality without you having to click a single button. Teams Status Automator uses lightweight, client-side Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to bridge the gap between your Google Calendar and Microsoft Teams. It intelligently monitors your schedule and handles the status changes for you, ensuring your colleagues always know when you are available or occupied. Core Features: Automatic iCal Sync: Simply paste your public Google Calendar ICS URL, and the extension will fetch your schedule at your preferred interval. Multi-Client Profile Support: Manage multiple clients or workstreams with independent configuration profiles. Perfect for consultants and freelancers managing multiple Teams tenants. Intelligent Buffering: Automatically sets your status to "Be Right Back" a few minutes before and after meetings to give you time to prepare or transition. Smart Work-Hour Logic: Respects your personal time. The extension automatically sets you to "Away" or "Offline" outside of your configured work hours and on weekends. Manual Override with Timer: Need to stay "Available" for a quick errand? Set a manual override for a specific duration, and the extension will resume automation once the timer expires. Live Automation Log: A transparent, dark-mode log window allows you to see exactly when the extension fetched your calendar and what status it applied. Privacy-First Architecture: Unlike cloud-based tools, this extension runs entirely in your browser. Your calendar data and Teams credentials never leave your local machine. How it works: The extension acts as a "virtual assistant" inside your browser. It parses your calendar events and, when a status change is required, it finds your open Microsoft Teams tabs and securely interacts with the UI to update your presence. This method bypasses the need for complex API registrations or admin permissions, making it the perfect solution for users in restricted enterprise environments. Who is this for? Consultants managing multiple client Teams accounts simultaneously. Managers who want to ensure their availability is always accurate for their team. Remote Workers who want a clear "End of Day" status applied automatically at 5:00 PM. User Guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OTiC54gzblkv7XiVQo0N--6uNdl6_ntiJnDx07np2sA/edit?usp=sharing
