Monitor internet connectivity and show the latest response time on the extension icon. Ping Monitor continuously checks google web endpoint and displays the latest response time directly on the extension icon. There's no need to open a website or run ping in command-line tools—your current connection status is always visible in your Chrome toolbar. Whether you're working from home, managing network equipment, or waiting for an internet connection to recover, Ping Monitor gives you immediate visual feedback without interrupting your workflow. -Monitoring internet connectivity. -Watching for ISP outages or intermittent connections. -Tracking latency over the last few minutes.. -Quickly confirming when your internet connection has recovered. Open extension and pin to taskbar to always have it open. NOTE: This is a http/https ping monitor and can not send ICMP ping packets. Chrome does not have access to raw network sockets or ICMP for security reasons. I'm constantly working offsite and lets be honest, people just want to know if there internet is online and this tool does it. This is not Wireshark, Fing or any of those packet sniffing programs. This is a simple "Hey, is my internet working" program. The reason I use it, i'm in the field and constantly swap between sim cards and Hotel wifi. If I remote into the server and the internet starts acting up I want to know about it at a glance. I don't want to pull up cmd and run ping -t 8.8.8.8 everytime. This is my first version, let me know if there is anything I need to update.
