Locally reconcile supported CSV reports exported from Square Dashboard into a reviewable XLSX workbook. Reconcile compatible transaction and item-detail CSV reports into a reviewable Excel workbook, entirely in your browser. Sales CSV Reconciler helps merchants combine two related exports without manually rebuilding one-to-many lookups in a spreadsheet. Select both files, analyze them, review the result counts, and download an XLSX workbook. Features: - Join transaction and item-detail rows through exact transaction/payment identifiers - Keep transaction-level totals separate from item-level sales lines - Preserve supported negative and refund rows without guessing an allocation - Quarantine ambiguous, malformed, orphaned, duplicate, or conflicting groups in an explained UNMATCHED sheet - Produce Summary, Transactions, Sales Lines, UNMATCHED, and Diagnostics sheets - Copy a privacy-safe structural diagnostic when a file layout is not recognized - Fail closed when no transaction can be joined confidently - Process selected files locally with no network or website access Privacy: Selected CSV contents are processed in the extension popup and used only to create the user-requested workbook. Version 0.9.0 has no analytics, telemetry, advertising, developer server, account, licensing, or billing system. It requests no Chrome API or host permissions and does not transmit CSV contents or diagnostics. Compatibility and limitations: Version 0.9.0 recognizes a provisional synthetic English-language CSV schema profile. It has extensive local fixture and automated testing but has not been verified against a current export from a live Square merchant account. It never fuzzy-matches identifiers, allocates refunds or fees to items, or invents reconciliation formulas. Review UNMATCHED and verify source values before using the workbook for accounting, tax, inventory, or operational decisions. Files larger than 25 MiB each, malformed CSV, unfamiliar critical headers, or inputs with no confident matches generate no workbook. Sales CSV Reconciler is independent software.
