They were autopilot: a good photo, a countdown timer, "only 2 left", and a checkout designed to take four seconds. Impulse Vault puts 72 hours between wanting something and buying it. HOW IT WORKS • Vault it. On a product page, click "Vault it" next to Add to Cart. Write one line about why you want it. The item drops into your vault. • Wait. For the next 72 hours the buy button is locked. You can still look at the page, read reviews, check the price. Checkout stays closed. • Decide. When the timer ends, you get one question: do you still want this? "Yes" opens the page. "No" adds the price to your Saved Stack. • Watch it grow. Every "no" is money that stayed yours. The stack never goes down, and buying something later doesn't take anything back. Buying after the wait isn't failure. Three days of wanting something is a real signal, and the system worked. "Unlock early" is always there. You write a sentence about why it can't wait, then take a 20-second pause. That's enough to break autopilot, and never enough to trap you. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays in your browser. No account, no server, no sync, no analytics, and no affiliate links. Impulse Vault makes no money when you buy, so it has no reason to nudge you toward buying. Export or delete all your data at any time. WHY IT NEEDS THESE PERMISSIONS Impulse Vault reads the product page you vault (title, price and image) and redirects that product's page and the store's checkout while it cools off. It only asks for access to sites beyond the built-in stores when you choose to lock them.
