The extension does not update automatically or run continuously in the background. Proxy data is downloaded only when you press the Update button. Press Copy next to a proxy, or use Copy All Results. 5. Paste the proxy address into a compatible application. MANUAL UPDATES The extension never downloads proxy data just because you open the popup. It contacts TOPfreeproxylist.com only after you explicitly press Update. If an update fails, the extension keeps your previously downloaded list available. IMPORTANT This extension displays and copies public proxy addresses. It does not automatically configure or change your browser’s network or proxy settings. Public proxies are operated by independent third parties. Their availability, speed, security, and reliability cannot be guaranteed.
