Paid ChaseCulture members only. Full description Never lose a restock race to a Discord notification lag again. ChaseCulture Auto-Open is the companion browser extension for ChaseCulture members. When a restock alert fires for a product on your watchlist, this extension opens the product page in a new tab the instant it happens — no clicking a Discord link, no fumbling for your phone. It connects directly to the same real-time alert feed ChaseCulture uses, so there's no notification round-trip to wait on. How it works Connect your ChaseCulture account token from your dashboard (Settings → Extension). Turn on Auto-open, or set filters for specific retailers, games, item types, or exact SKUs. When a matching restock alert fires, a tab opens straight to the product page — ready for you to check out manually. What it doesn't do This is a navigation tool, not a checkout bot. It never touches your retailer accounts, saved payment details, carts, or checkout — it only opens the public product page. Buying remains entirely manual, in your own browser, on your own terms. Built for reliability A persistent connection with automatic reconnect, so a dropped connection heals itself in seconds. A configurable rate limit (tabs per minute) so a wave of simultaneous restocks doesn't flood your browser. Priority filtering, so you can auto-open only the highest-confidence alerts and just get a Discord DM for the rest. Requires an active ChaseCulture subscription (Standard or Vendor tier). Permission justifications (for the Web Store review form) tabs Used exclusively to open a new tab (chrome.tabs.create) pointed at the retailer's public product page when a restock alert the member is subscribed to fires. The extension does not read tab contents, URLs of unrelated tabs, or browsing history. storage Stores the member's account token, extension settings (auto-open toggle, filters, rate limit), connection status, and a local cache of the last 10 alerts — all in chrome.storage.local (device-only, never synced). No data is stored on behalf of any other extension or site. alarms Used only to keep the Manifest V3 service worker alive and reconnect a dropped WebSocket. Chrome terminates idle service workers; a recurring alarm (~every 30s) is the standard MV3 pattern to detect this and reconnect, plus a periodic (30 min) re-check that the member's subscription is still active. No user-facing scheduling. host_permissions: api.chaseclub.com.au This is our own backend. The extension needs it to (a) verify the member's account token and subscription tier over HTTPS, and (b) hold a WebSocket connection that receives real-time restock alerts. No other host is contacted at install time.
