Estimates potential reductions in web page code size and the resulting energy and CO₂ savings, locally and across all users. Estimates potential reductions in web page code size and the resulting energy (kWh) and CO₂ savings, locally and across all users. The extension analyzes the content of the current page and identifies reducible components such as HTML, CSS, and inline JavaScript. Optionally, you can reduce the CSS of the currently opened page to decrease the amount of transferred data. The extension then calculates the estimated data savings in megabytes, as well as the corresponding energy consumption (kWh) and CO₂ emissions. The estimated values are displayed for the current page, for your device overall, and in a weekly overview. All energy and CO₂ values are estimates based on transparent conversion factors and do not represent direct electricity measurements. All measurement data is stored locally in your browser only and remains available even after extension updates. Through the option “Contribute anonymous estimates to the overall statistics”, you can voluntarily send your aggregated estimated byte savings to the Cloudflare Worker. This creates a live overall statistic from all participating users. No page content, URLs, or browser history are transmitted. Available languages: Arabic, Bengali, German, English, Spanish, Persian, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Thai, Kurdish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
