Flags AI-made images as you browse. Reads the AI signature in the picture itself. Runs on your computer, nothing is uploaded. Imposter Shield tells you when a picture you are looking at was made by AI. It reads the image itself, right on your computer. No account, no uploads, and nothing you browse is ever sent anywhere. The toolbar icon lights up green, yellow or red depending on what is on the page. WHAT IT CATCHES - Images carrying C2PA Content Credentials, the AI provenance standard - Generator fingerprints left in the file by Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E and others - Images served straight from AI-only image hosts WHERE PEOPLE USE IT - Marketplace and rental listings with photos of places that do not exist - Dating profiles - News and social feeds - Product shots and reviews BEING STRAIGHT WITH YOU Imposter Shield flags images that still carry an AI signature. Plenty of images have had that stripped by the time they reach a feed, and we would rather stay quiet than guess. A green light means we found no AI signature, not that we promise the picture is real. We are not going to invent a number to look clever. PRIVACY Everything runs locally. There is no account and no tracking. The only thing that ever leaves your machine is a report you choose to send us when you think a flag is wrong. Free, and staying free.
