Check video resolution, display scaling, and dropped frames before fixing a pixelated video. PixelatedFix Video Quality Checker helps you understand why a video may look blurry or pixelated in Chrome. Click the extension while a video is open to check the current decoded resolution, the size at which the webpage displays it, likely aspect-ratio stretching, and dropped frames. The check runs locally on the current tab. The extension does not download videos, upload video content, or collect your browsing history. The extension never downloads or sends the third-party webpage video to PixelatedFix. Permissions: • activeTab — checks the current tab only after the user clicks the extension • scripting — runs the packaged one-time local video check PixelatedFix is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube.
