Kevin Durant wallpapers on every new tab, with a clock, search, bookmarks, notes and his own words. Kevin Durant on every new tab. Second overall. Too skinny, they said. Couldn't bench 185 at the combine. Fifteen-plus years later: four scoring titles, an MVP, two rings, two Finals MVPs, and one of the purest jump shots the sport has produced. What makes Durant worth following is not the résumé though. It is that he has been doubted at every stage, changed teams under real public heat, come back from an Achilles, and kept showing up in the gym anyway. If you want a reminder of what stubbornness looks like, put it where you will see it forty times a day. THE WALLPAPERS Fourteen of them. Oklahoma City blue, Golden State, Brooklyn black. Full resolution, picked to hold up on a large display, with more added over time. HIS OWN WORDS Every wallpaper carries something Durant actually said. On being doubted. On hard work beating talent that will not work. On his mother, and the nights she went to sleep hungry so he did not have to. THE DASHBOARD - Clock and date, with world clocks for the time zones you track - Search from the new tab using the engine you prefer - Bookmarks and most-visited sites within reach - Notes and to-do lists that stay where you left them - A quick-launch rail for the apps you are in all day - Widgets, layout and colors under your control SPEED Loads instantly, then gets out of the way.
