Companies post these listings for a variety of reasons that benefit them but waste candidates' time and energy with applications, assessments, assignments, and interviews that don't go anywhere. ghostE empowers you identify ghost jobs so you only apply to real opportunities, saving you time and helping you find your next role sooner. ghostE's dual-layer approach first matches specific text in the listing to catch common red flags, then it uses the O*NET database, a comprehensive list of job titles, and Claude API to match the job title, and compare it to the job description for an added layer of accuracy. It returns a score calculated based on each element's strength as an indicator. Scores of 50% or higher indicate likely ghost jobs.
