Description
Scan, filter, dedupe, and bulk-download a page's images. Dedupe that works. Sees nothing until you click. Bulk Image Downloader finds every image on a web page — even the ones you can't easily right-click — and lets you filter, remove duplicates, and download exactly the ones you want, as individual files or a single ZIP. Everything runs on your device. No account, no uploads, no tracking. WHY YOU'LL WANT IT Saving images one at a time is slow, and "save everything" tools dump hundreds of near-identical thumbnails, icons, and duplicates into your Downloads folder. Bulk Image Downloader gives you control: scan the whole page, narrow it down to what matters, drop the duplicates, and grab a clean set in one click. WHAT IT DOES • Scans the entire page — <img>, srcset, CSS backgrounds, lazy-loaded and shadow-DOM images, not just what's visible on screen. • Filters precisely — by size, file type, source domain, filename, or "only from this page" to skip third-party clutter. • Removes duplicates — a perceptual fingerprint groups near-identical copies (different sizes, re-compressions) so you keep the best one, not five. • Downloads your way — save selected images individually, or bundle them into a single ZIP built right in your browser. • Organizes automatically — optional folder rules sort downloads into subfolders by domain, date, or size. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your images never leave your device. There's no server to phone home to and no account to create. The extension only reads a page when you click its icon, does all its work locally, and forgets everything when you close the tab. • No uploads • No tracking • No account • Works offline Optional usage stats are off by default; if you turn them on they're anonymous and content-free — counts and feature names only, never URLs, filenames, or image data. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any page with images and click the Bulk Image Downloader icon. 2. It instantly lists every image it finds, with dimensions and file types. 3. Filter and de-duplicate to narrow the set. 4. Select what you want and download as files or a ZIP. PERMISSIONS, IN PLAIN WORDS • activeTab — read the current tab, only when you click. • scripting — run the image scan in that tab. • downloads — save the files you choose. • storage — remember your settings locally. • Optional "all sites" access — requested only if some images sit on servers that block direct access, and only with your approval. Free during the beta. Made for anyone who grabs a lot of images — designers, researchers, archivists, and everyone tired of saving pictures one by one.
