It lets you capture screenshots of any web page, annotate them, and organize everything into investigation sessions — entirely in your browser, with no data ever leaving your device. Capture — Visible tab screenshot or freehand region selection — HTML DOM saved alongside every screenshot — Forensic banner burned into each image: ISO 8601 timestamp + full SHA-256 hash Annotate — Draw arrows, rectangles, text, highlights, blur zones and numbered markers directly on captures — Full undo/redo, non-destructive (original always preserved) Organize — Group captures into named sessions (one per investigation, audit, or research thread) — Tags, notes, domain and date filters — Full-text search across names, URLs, page titles, notes and tags (Cmd/Ctrl+K) — Advanced operators: session:, domain:, tag:, html:, media: Export — Single capture as PNG with customizable filename template — Whole session as a ZIP archive — Full database as a .kaptur backup file — importable to restore any state Privacy Kaptur makes zero outbound network requests.
