Captures your AI chat sessions on ChatGPT and Claude and logs them to Aionix, per your organization's policy. Aionix Capture gives your organisation a record of the AI tools your team uses. The extension is inactive on every other website. WHAT GETS LOGGED Your organisation's Aionix administrator chooses one of two capture modes, and the extension enforces it in the browser: • High-level insights - only metadata leaves your device: which assistant was used, which model, when, how many messages, and estimated token and cost figures. No prompt or reply text is ever collected. This is the default, and the extension falls back to it whenever it cannot confirm the policy. • Full session - the transcript is logged as well, so it can be reviewed and retained in Aionix. WHY YOU'D INSTALL IT • Usage visibility - see which AI tools are actually being used, on which models, and what they are costing. • A compliance record - keep an auditable history of AI work for the assistants that offer no admin export on your plan. • Consistency - sessions from the browser land in the same Aionix workspace as everything else, so reporting covers all of it. • Zero-touch rollout - administrators can provision the extension through Chrome policy (Google Admin, Intune or GPO), so it is paired on first run with no user setup. TRANSPARENCY AND CONTROL Capture is meant to be visible, not silent: • Setup opens with a plain-language disclosure of exactly what is captured. • A persistent badge appears in every tab that is being captured, with pause, exclude, and a "why am I seeing this" explanation. • The popup's "View what was last sent" receipt shows precisely what left your browser. In high-level mode it states plainly that no transcript was captured. • Pause capture at any time, or exclude a specific conversation. • A browser that has not been paired to an Aionix workspace sends nothing at all. PRIVACY • The only server the extension contacts is the Aionix API. Nothing is sent anywhere else. • Request and response headers are never read, so your credentials and session tokens for the AI providers are never touched. • Content from any site other than the six assistants listed above is never accessed. • Data is used solely to provide the AI usage record inside your organisation's Aionix workspace.
