MINERVA FORUM CUSTOMISER Tired of staring at the same default forum.minerva.edu look every day? Minerva Forum Customizer lets you restyle the Minerva Forum entirely on your end (themes, fonts, accent colors, and header images) without touching anyone else's experience but your own. FEATURES 8 built-in themes: from the default Minerva Timeline look to darker, high-contrast, and colorful alternatives (San Cisco Fog, Berlin All-Nighter, M29 but cooler, Buenos Tango, Tokyo Mystery, and more). Independent body and heading fonts: pick from a wide range of font stacks (Georgia, Verdana, Palatino, Futura, Garamond, and others) to customize body text and headings separately. Custom accent color: fine-tune the accent color used throughout the default theme with a color picker. Header backdrops: choose from curated regional presets (Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Latin America) or upload your own image to replace the forum header banner. Rounded UI toggle: soften the look of cards, panels, and the sidebar with rounded corners. Instant updates: changes apply immediately to the active tab, no reload required, and persist automatically as you navigate within the forum's single-page app. One-click reset: restore all defaults and clear any uploaded header image. HOW IT WORKS The extension only runs on forum.minerva.edu. It injects a small stylesheet into the page based on your saved preferences and updates it live as you change settings from the toolbar popup. Your preferences sync across your signed-in Chrome browsers via chrome.storage.sync; uploaded header images are stored locally on your device via chrome.storage.local and are not synced or uploaded anywhere else. PRIVACY Minerva Forum Customizer does not collect, transmit, or share any data. It does not track your activity, browsing history, or personal information. All preferences and images stay within Chrome's local/sync storage on your own device and account. There are no third-party analytics, no external servers, and no network requests made by the extension itself. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED storage: to save your theme, font, color, and header preferences. activeTab: to apply your customization to the current forum tab when you change a setting.
