Set local daily limits for websites and manage your browsing time with private usage tracking. Website Usage Limiter helps you set daily limits for selected websites and manage your browsing time directly in your browser. Add a limit for a website, choose soft or hard mode, and let the extension track active usage locally. Soft mode warns you when you are near or at your limit. Hard mode shows a local block page when the daily limit is reached, with options to add extra time, pause the limit, or open the dashboard. The dashboard lets you review limited websites, search and filter rules, edit limits, view local usage trends, and manage settings. You can also export and import your local data as a JSON file. Website Usage Limiter is designed to be privacy-friendly. Usage data is stored locally in your browser. No account is required, no analytics are used, no backend server is used, and no data is uploaded anywhere. Important note: Usage tracking is best-effort based on the active tab, browser focus, and idle state. This extension does not provide medical advice, mental health treatment, or guaranteed productivity results. Limitations: Data is stored only on the current browser and does not sync across devices. Some actions may not work on restricted browser pages. Clearing extension data may remove saved limits and local usage history unless exported first.
