TradingView Watchlist Sync automatically scans your positions, syncs to watchlists on TradingView from your browser. The core workflow is fast, private, and ready to grow with you. Why you’ll love it: * Read-only access: The extension reads open positions only; it does not perform trades or modify any accounts. * Privacy-conscious and local-first: Core scanning happens in-browser; you control what data is shown in the UI. Only the necessary data (e.g., ticker, strike, expiration, type, side) is read and used for display. * No brokerage credentials stored: The extension does not retain or export your brokerage login data. Credentials are never stored in the browser. * Safe data handling: No unintended data collection beyond your open positions; no changes to your data unless you explicitly enable features that you understand. What’s inside (current scope): * Automatic position scanning for almost all US brokerages. * Lightweight, robust parsing to pull essential fields (identifier, basic position status) * Clean UI with a dedicated Settings view to keep options organized Notes: * If you enable any cross-device syncing in the future, credentials are never stored in the extension; a secure backend path (only with your explicit consent) would handle syncing. * Schwab authentication must be refreshed periodically; reauthentication is required every 7 days to continue access. How to get started: 1) Install the extension and sign in as needed to enable any syncing you choose. 2) Choose your brokerage and begin scanning. 3) Review your scanned data in the extension and plan your next steps.
