AI companion for Tableau Public — understand any viz instantly, identify chart types, and learn how to build it. Tableau Public is a goldmine of data viz brilliance — if you can read it. Every day, thousands of visualizations get published on public.tableau.com by the global DataFam community. Some are educational, some are journalism, some are pure art. But for self-taught analysts, students, and the merely curious, browsing the gallery raises the same question every time: how did they build this? What chart type even is this? Where do I start learning? Viztara answers those questions in one click. WHAT IT DOES Open any visualization on public.tableau.com, click the magenta floating button, and Viztara uses Claude or GPT-4o to: - Summarize what the viz is showing in plain English - Identify every chart type used (recognizes 30+, including beeswarm, sankey, calendar heatmaps, small multiples, slope charts, and other modern dataviz) - Surface real tutorials for building each chart — articles from Flerlage Twins, Playfair Data, The Data School, The Information Lab, VizWiz, plus Tableau's official documentation, plus YouTube videos MADE FOR - Students learning Tableau on their own - Journalists making sense of unfamiliar dashboards on deadline - Analysts hunting for inspiration before building their own work - Job-seekers reverse-engineering portfolio vizzes from creators they admire - Anyone who's ever stared at a beautiful chart and thought "I want to build this but have no idea where to start" 19 LANGUAGES Output translates into Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, and Hebrew.
