Empiric Studio v2.3.0 - Frame, scrolling element capture, keyboard shortcuts What's new • Keyboard shortcuts - Alt+Shift+F captures the full page, Alt+Shift+R captures a region. Rebind any time from chrome://extensions/shortcuts. • Frame - a new editor tool that wraps any region capture with padding, a gradient or solid background, rounded corners, and a drop shadow. Everything is baked into the exported PNG, so screenshots are share-ready straight from the editor — no third-party tools needed. • Capture element - hover-pick any scrollable container on a page (sidebar, chat pane, modal, message list) and stitch its entire internal scroll height into a single PNG. Notes • Frame is available only when "Edit before save" is enabled on a region capture. • Element capture works on elements that have their own scroll container (CSS overflow-y: auto/scroll). For long inline page sections without their own scroller, use full page capture instead. • Cross-origin iframes are not supported by Chrome content scripts, so element capture cannot reach into them.
