For authors who dream about the list. Put your own book at number one, in your own browser. Every author has pictured it. Made the List lets you look. Paste your book's Goodreads link. The extension reads the title, author, publisher, cover and description off the page, and puts your book in the number one slot of whichever New York Times Best Sellers list you choose — Combined Print & E-Book Fiction, Hardcover Nonfiction, Young Adult, whichever one you have been imagining. It changes nothing but your own browser window. Nobody else sees it. The change lives on your machine, is visible only to you, and disappears the moment you click Remove. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the icon and paste your Goodreads URL 2. Hit Fetch — everything fills in, and you can edit any of it 3. Pick your list, set how many weeks you have been on it, hit Publish 4. Open nytimes.com/books/best-sellers and look at number one WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No account. No server. No tracking. Nothing you enter leaves your computer. Nothing is published anywhere or shown to anyone else. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to The New York Times Company or Goodreads. Book data comes from the Goodreads page you point it at.
