Easily disable/enable read receipts in Google Chat (from the Gmail page) using a toggle button Read Google Chat messages without sending read receipts 🕶 ✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶ ▶ How to use: 1️⃣ After installation - go to Gmail page. 2️⃣ Select "Chat" from the side menu. 3️⃣ Now you can see the "READ RECEIPTS" button. To disable read receipts, toggle the button to "OFF". ✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶✶ ⚠️ PLEASE NOTE! ⚠️ While the read receipts are disabled, some chat functionality may not work correctly. It is recommended that you switch it back to "ON" after reading the messages.
