RevertIt helps protect the work you type into websites so accidental deletions, reloads, crashes, and browser restarts do not have to mean starting over. RevertIt automatically creates local recovery checkpoints for text you actually change in supported web editors. KEY FEATURES • Automatic draft recovery Protects changed text in normal textareas, rich contenteditable editors, framework-controlled inputs, dynamically replaced editors, and supported open Shadow DOM editors. • Instant Undo Guard Detects large accidental deletions while you are still on the page and can offer an immediate way to restore the deleted work. • Safe Restore Preview recoverable fields and choose exactly which ones you want to restore. • Recovery Finder Search and filter recovery history by site, recent work, pinned checkpoints, and named recovery points. • Save Assurance Uses fast save attempts, debounce saving, forced dirty saves during continuous typing, and page-exit protection to reduce the window in which recent typing could be lost. • Workspace Guard Save local browser workspace checkpoints containing ordinary HTTP/HTTPS tabs and windows. • Resume My Work After a browser restart, RevertIt can reopen missing tabs, avoid obvious duplicates, and help refill recoverable drafts. • Local backup Export and import your own RevertIt recovery backup. • Site privacy controls Exclude websites where you do not want RevertIt protecting drafts. PRIVACY RevertIt is designed to skip sensitive fields such as passwords, payment-card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, one-time authentication codes, secret keys, and similar fields. Untouched prefilled fields are not intended to be saved. The current release does not use a RevertIt account server, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, hosted AI service, or billing backend. Recovery data is stored locally using browser extension storage. Browser-local storage is not an encrypted vault and should not be treated as protection against someone who already has access to your device or browser profile.
