Local-first browser AI assistant for contextual page interactions. Saidr is a local-first AI assistant for Chrome that helps you work with text directly on any webpage. Select text, choose an action, and get contextual AI help without leaving the page. Saidr can translate, summarize, explain, rewrite, or start a follow-up conversation from the selected content. It includes a floating toolbar, an in-page AI panel, and a side panel for longer chats, history, settings, bots, providers, and custom prompts. Saidr supports OpenAI, LM Studio, and Ollama, so you can use hosted models or local models depending on your workflow. Settings, bots, prompts, and history are stored locally in your browser.
