Immerly is a Chrome extension that shows the original and translation together on the screen where you read webpages, watch videos, or view PDFs. There is no need to copy text into another tab or find your place again: check the original wording and context while you keep understanding the content in its flow. Keep your reading flow • On webpages, read a sentence-by-sentence translation directly below the original text. • On supported video sites, view the video's provided original captions and translated captions together. • When a supported video has no captions, Immerly can create captions from speech where the video and browser allow it. • In PDFs, compare original text and translation side by side when the PDF has readable text. • Select a sentence or right-click it to understand it immediately in place. • View original and translation together, or show only one when you need to. After installation, free translation is available without signing up or adding a card. Immerly automatically chooses free translation that fits the page and language. Pro automatically applies translation that reflects longer passages' context and wording. You do not need to choose a translation engine or model. Content you read is used only for translation and caption creation. Immerly processes what it can directly in the browser; when server processing is needed, the content is used only while the request is being handled. The original text, translation results, visited page URLs, and original video audio are not stored on Immerly's servers. For speech captions, only the sound segments needed for the captions are processed. Content is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train models. Please note • Video support depends on supported video sites. Protected videos can be translated when the video provides captions, but Immerly cannot create new speech captions for protected videos. • PDF translation is available for PDFs whose text can be read. • Automatic translation can contain errors. Do not use it as the sole basis for medical, legal, or financial decisions.
