Hover over a sentence or select a paragraph to translate it instantly in your browser. Translate website text without leaving the page. Quick Translate translates a sentence when you hover over it or a paragraph when you select it. It supports automatic language detection and language choices including English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Thai, and Indonesian. Availability depends on Chrome's support for the selected language pair. Features: - Hover to translate a sentence. - Select a paragraph to translate it. - Translate on your device using Chrome's built-in Translator API. - Automatically detect the source language. - Show or hide the original text. - Copy a translation, read it aloud, or save it as a TXT file. - Adjust the hover delay and translation text size. - Use keyboard shortcuts to enable or disable translation. Requirements: Use a supported desktop version of Google Chrome with the Translator API available. Chrome may need an internet connection to download language packs during initial setup. Once the required packs are ready, translation runs on your device. Protected browser pages, including the Chrome Web Store, do not allow the translation interface. Privacy: Quick Translate asks for consent before translation is enabled. Requested text is processed locally using Chrome language detection and the Translator API; it is not sent to Google Translate or the developer.
