Stops eBay, Temu and AliExpress forcing every click into a new tab. Cmd-click still opens a new tab when you want one. eBay, Temu and AliExpress put target="_blank" on almost every product link, so a normal browsing session leaves you with a dozen tabs you never asked for. No browser setting turns that off. This extension does. It works in three ways, matching the three tricks these sites use: • It rewrites target="_blank" to _self on the link you clicked, the moment you click it — before the site's own scripts run. • It neutralises <base target="_blank">, which would otherwise send every relative link on the page to a new tab. • It intercepts window.open(url) calls used to fake a link, and navigates the current tab instead. Genuine popups are left alone. Anything that asks for a sized window — sign-in, checkout, payment, share sheets — opens exactly as the site intended, so nothing breaks. Cmd-click, Ctrl-click, Shift-click and middle-click are untouched. When you actually want a new tab, you still get one. Runs only on eBay (all regional domains), Temu and AliExpress. No account, no options to configure, no analytics, no network requests. Nothing leaves your browser.
