Run Pomodoro focus sessions and block distracting sites only while you work. Focus Booster helps you protect deep work with a Pomodoro-style timer and a blocklist that respects your session. HOW IT WORKS • Pick 15, 25, 50 minutes — or set a custom length • Add sites you want to avoid (youtube.com, news sites, social feeds) • Start focus — those sites redirect to a calm “stay focused” page • When the session ends, blocking lifts automatically (unless you enable Always block) • Take a short break, build a streak, repeat BUILT FOR REAL FOCUS • Timers use Chrome alarms so sessions finish even if the extension sleeps • Blocking is session-scoped by default — not a permanent internet lockdown • Domains are normalized for you (paste a full URL; we store the host) • Optional host permissions: access is requested for sites you choose • Everything stays on your device — no account, no tracking servers PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED • Storage — save your blocklist and progress • Alarms — reliable session end times • Notifications — celebrate finished sessions • Tabs — “Back to work” from the focus page • Site access — only for domains you add, so redirects can work Open the toolbar popup to start a session.
