Format phone numbers in web forms. Click the icon next to a phone field to apply your preferred format. Number Clean helps you standardize phone numbers while filling out forms on the web—CRM tools, checkout pages, signup flows, internal apps, and more. HOW IT WORKS • The extension finds phone fields on the page (type="tel", fields named "phone" or "mobile", matching labels, and similar). • When you focus a field or enter a number, a small format icon appears next to it. • Click the icon to reformat the value using your active configuration. • Choose your format once in settings; use it everywhere. BUILT-IN FORMATS • E.164 (+1) — e.g. (234) 567-8910 → +12345678910 • National (US) — (234) 567-8910 • Dashes — 234-567-8910 • Dots — 234.567.8910 CUSTOM FORMATS Create your own templates in Options (e.g. {area}-{exchange}-{subscriber}) and set the country for parsing. Switch the active configuration anytime from the extension popup. WORKS ON DYNAMIC PAGES Fields added after the page loads (SPAs, modals, lazy forms) are supported via automatic page observation. PRIVACY Formatting runs in your browser. Your settings are stored locally with Chrome storage. Number Clean does not send form data to external servers. PERMISSIONS • Storage — save your active format and custom configurations • Access to all websites — required to detect and format phone fields on the pages where you use forms Open the extension popup to see your active format, or right-click the icon → Options to manage configurations.
