Automatically sends Yahoo searches to Google. Fixes browsers that keep redirecting your searches to Yahoo. Does your browser keep sending your searches to Yahoo? Search Rescue fixes that. Whenever a search would go to Yahoo, this extension instantly sends it to Google instead — with the exact same search terms. No more deleting Yahoo from your address bar or wondering why your searches got hijacked. HOW IT WORKS - You search like normal. - If that search is headed to Yahoo, Search Rescue redirects it to Google automatically — before the Yahoo page even loads. - A simple on/off switch lets you turn it off anytime. WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT - Automatic — set it once and forget it. - Private — no accounts, no sign-ups, and your searches are never collected or sent anywhere. - Lightweight — it only asks for permission on Yahoo's search page, nothing else. - Simple — one toggle, that's the whole app. GOOD TO KNOW If your searches keep getting forced to Yahoo, it's often caused by other software or another extension on your computer. Search Rescue reliably redirects those searches to Google so you get where you wanted to go. For a permanent fix of the underlying cause, you may also want to review the other extensions and programs installed on your device.
