Convenient photo and image management on your computer — select, rename, and compress files with ease HyperPhoto turns your browser into a fast local photo triage tool: look through a folder, pick the good shots, rename them, shrink them to a size limit, and move the rest out of the way. Everything happens on your computer. No uploads, no accounts, no servers — the extension has no network access and requests no permissions at all. WHAT IT DOES - Large previews — photos are shown as 10.8 × 8.6 cm tiles, three per row, so you can judge a shot without opening it. The "−" and "+" buttons change the tile size. - Fast selection — click to pick, Shift+click for a range, Space from the keyboard. A "Show selection" switch leaves only the picked ones on screen. - Full-screen view — 100% pixel zoom to check sharpness, plus an EXIF panel: camera, lens, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, date. - Batch rename — number the selected photos 1, 2, 3… with an optional prefix and leading zeros, or type a name for each one. A preview shows "old name → new name" before anything is touched, and a warning appears if a target name is already taken. - Compression with a size limit — set "no more than 2 MB" and the extension finds the highest quality that still fits. It never drops below 72% quality: if that is not enough, it reduces resolution instead, which looks far better than a heavily over-compressed image. JPEG or WebP. - Delete — selected photos move into a "Trash" subfolder, so nothing disappears irreversibly. WHERE FILES GO Always back into the folder the photos came from. Renaming happens in place, compressed copies go to a "Compressed photos" subfolder, deleted photos go to a "Trash" subfolder. Nothing to configure and no "where to save" questions. WORKS THE SAME EVERYWHERE Windows, macOS and Linux (including Astra Linux) behave identically, because the interface lives in the browser rather than in the file manager. Drag a folder from your file manager straight into the window, or load a folder shortcut (.desktop, .url) and the extension will read the path from it. PRIVACY The extension requests no permissions. Your photos are read from a folder you select yourself through the browser's own folder picker, and they never leave your computer. *** HyperPhoto превращает браузер в быстрый инструмент отбора фотографий: просмотреть папку, выбрать удачные кадры, переименовать, ужать до нужного веса, а лишнее убрать. Превью «старое имя → новое имя» показывается до начала операции, а если имя уже занято, появляется предупреждение. - Сжатие под лимит — задаёте «не больше 2 МБ», расширение подбирает самое высокое качество, при котором файл влезает. Ниже 72% не опускается: если не хватает, аккуратно уменьшает разрешение — визуально это заметно лучше пережатого кадра. JPEG или WebP. - Удаление — выбранные фото переезжают в подпапку «Корзина», ничего не пропадает безвозвратно. КУДА СОХРАНЯЮТСЯ ФАЙЛЫ Всегда обратно в ту папку, откуда взяты фотографии. Переименование идёт на месте, сжатые копии — в подпапку «Сжатые фото», удалённые — в подпапку «Корзина». Ничего настраивать не нужно. ОДИНАКОВО НА ЛЮБОЙ СИСТЕМЕ Windows, macOS и Linux, включая Astra Linux, ведут себя одинаково, потому что интерфейс живёт в браузере, а не в файловом менеджере. Папку можно перетащить прямо из файлового менеджера или загрузить ярлык папки (.desktop, .url) — путь прочитается из него. ПРИВАТНОСТЬ Расширение не запрашивает ни одного разрешения. Фотографии читаются из папки, которую вы сами выбрали в системном диалоге, и никуда не отправляются.
