Automatically delete only the browsing history you choose. Cleanup settings stay hidden behind a Pomodoro timer. “An unnatural history speaks louder than words.” CleanFocus is a selective browsing history deletion and cleanup extension that can be used, on the surface, as a simple Pomodoro timer. Use it every day as a focus timer for work or study. When needed, CleanFocus can clean up browsing history entries that match the keywords or URLs you registered. Instead of deleting everything, CleanFocus lets you organize only the history you do not want to show. This helps you avoid the unnatural look of an empty browser history while protecting your own privacy. History cleanup settings are not shown on the normal screen. They can be configured from “Advanced Config,” which opens only after entering a secret command on the timer screen. ──────────────────────── History Cleanup Features ──────────────────────── - Delete only browsing history that matches registered keywords / URLs - Run manual cleanup with “Clear Now” - Auto-run when focus starts, Chrome starts, the browser is idle, or a target site is opened - Clean up recently closed tabs - Add the current tab URL with one click - Add copied text as a keyword with one click - Import / Export rules as JSON - Optional external NSFW domain list support, OFF by default ──────────────────────── Pomodoro Timer Features ──────────────────────── - Set work / break durations - Desktop notifications - Show today’s session count - Show today’s total focus time - Use it normally as a daily focus timer ──────────────────────── Privacy ──────────────────────── - No account required - Settings and rules are stored locally in your browser - Registered keywords and URLs are not sent to an external server - The external NSFW domain list is fetched only if you enable it ──────────────────────── Permissions ──────────────────────── - history: delete browsing history that matches registered rules - tabs / activeTab: add the current tab URL and clean up recently closed tabs - idle: run automatic cleanup when idle or locked - alarms: run scheduled tasks - notifications: show timer notifications - clipboardRead: add copied text as a keyword after your action - storage / unlimitedStorage: store settings and the external domain list locally
