Prism Chat is a companion to the Prism desktop app. It connects to the Prism app running on your machine (default http://localhost:8080) and routes your requests through the providers you’ve already configured there. Your chat history and page content are stored in Chrome local storage and sent to your local Prism instance; the extension does not collect or store your data on its own servers. Gemini Nano is also available in supported Chrome browsers when the local app is not reachable.
